|Recommended: YesFeels Like Home — Having lived in a house for the first 3.5 year of my undergrad education at UF, I was apprehensive about moving into a large housing conglomerate's complex, but the staff here was very helpful and made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process. I almost immediately extended my lease through my graduation date, and can't say enough good things about this place. It is a bit farther from campus than most of the other apartment complexes, but the bus service is frequent. Parking is very available and FREE. The living units are very nicely designed. Great experience.
|Recommended: YesThis isn't an apartment... this is a home — Living at Cottage Grove is one of the best decisions I've ever made During my first year of college, I lived in a luxury apartment right by campus where I was paying TWICE as much to stay. To summarize my time there in a few words... it was AWFUL It felt like living in a contemporary cheap hotel... and I never felt like I was at home. After visiting a close friend's house that lived at Cottage Grove, I was amazed at how beautiful and high quality her cottage was I decided I would take a tour for myself... and I signed on the spot. Since living here, I feel so comfortable and happy in my cottage. Everything is super well-built and high quality thick granite, beautiful baseboards crown molding, nice appliances, wood and carpeted bedrooms, oil-rubbed brass fixtures, etc. . Every time a friend visits my cottage, they are so surprised at how beautiful my home is and ask about living here I save so much money because the amenities are AMAZING Sure, they aren't as flashy and gimmicky as the overpriced luxury apartments near campus, but they are so great I get free printing in a super comfy study room, get to work out in a gym with nice and clean equipment, swim in an amazing pool that's ACTUALLY deep and can grill with friends, and I'm always getting free and useful Cottage Grove merch and food in the office Even better... the staff here is SO nice and down to earth. I was hesitant to talk to the workers at my last apartment because they were cold, rude, and snobby, but here... they are like my family The manager here Joe is an ACTUAL human teddy bear. He is so kind... and even though he stays professional, he TRULY cares about the residents here and always goes out of his way any time there's a problem. He has even come to my house to fix something in the middle of the night when maintenance wasn't here The workers are really nice and well educated, and our maintenance guy is AWESOME his name is Scott . There's so much parking... and the cottages are large enough to have tons of friends over Right after moving in, after just a week or two, I walked straight over to the office and resigned for next year Let me tell you now... you will NOT regret living here. It is the best decision I've ever made for me and my pets
